Birthday Update!

My last year as a TEENager. This is my last chance to do something stupid and blame it on TEENage rebellion. :)

I miss everyone at home. :( Can't blow my candles with everyone anymore *sniffles*

Settling down

*stretches* Nicole's birthday is 2 days away.

I can't sleep so I figured I should blog about Sydney and post up a few photos of Nic/my birthday and farewell. So, here goes!

In general, everything is pretty good -apart from the battle with the RTA to get my car registered. *sighs*

Rah's been pretty stressed out with work interviews and the administrative work load isn't helping at all. I haven't even had a glimpse of my University yet... LOL! I'll be doing that tomorrow. I'm so excited! I just can't wait for classes to begin.

As usual, I'm missing the pampering I get at home from Mum, Dad, A.rose, U.Mui, Adrian, Amanda and A.Phaik Leng.

Its a good thing that I know how spoiled I am. I never do any housework at home and if I need anything, there's always mum, dad or Adrian. Therefore, I've been picking up a few survival techniques since I got here. I need a pat on my back! I've literally been dumped in a foreign land -Thank GOD I have Rah to give me a hand. I feel like Paris Hilton in Simple Life at times. It is a good thing though, because I'm learning new things. My room is finally neat. I'm ACTUALLY washing my own dishes and COOKING my own meals. I'm buying my own GROCERIES and doing HOUSEWORK!

I bet 9/10 of us wouldn't even know how to do the most basic housework until we get thrown out of the house. It is called survival and we're too damn spoiled to learn it! I swear I'm going to make my kids clean freaks so they would clean up after themselves and I'll make sure it becomes an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder by the time they turn 18. I don't want my kids to turn out like me(an absolute bum when it comes to housework)


I consider myself lucky though...

• I've got a nice place in a good neighborhood and my sister's a real gem! :)

• I've found my soul mate and he's trying his best to get to me. I have to do my best to ensure we'll have a brilliant future together. The distance can't kill us. We have the rest of our lives to spend with each other.

• I've got the craziest( in a good way) and most understanding parents
  

• I've got loads of support from A.Rose and U.Mui

• I'm going to get a car

• And the list goes on! I've never felt so motivated to live responsibly and independently.

Hello Sydney!

I'm in Sydney!!!

woohoo!!! I've got a number of things to settle here before Uni starts... I've been super busy!

I'll start posting up really awesome pictures of the apartment and stuff once I've got time to waste. I'm still feeling rather nostalgic. The thought of missing everyone at home still makes me tear a little.

Mummy,Daddy, baby Drian, Nicole, Jing, Jat, Sham, Jeff, Becca, Marge, Poh Yee, Chia Ching, Chui Man, Fizzie and everyone else... Really have to thank you guys for the final wishes and the great times.

To Nicole, Thanks for the empowering message in your gift.

Jing and Jiin, thanks for seeing me off at the airport. lol. and having a nice final dinner yea?

Baby Drian, I'll love you no matter what and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to share a life with you.

Mum, Dad, you guys are not only the best parents in the world, but my best friends too! I'm already missing the late night movies with mum and Dad's cooking!

I'm just hoping that time will pass quickly and I'll get to see you guys again.

I made a promise to my baby and I intend on keeping it. 6 years, 8 years, whatever... I'm here and nothing can change the way i feel about you
