oh, and you know how I blogged about creating my own ice-cream that looked like a chocolate bar (My ice-cream dream).
Like I know heaps of people that read it told me that these things already exist and yeah, I have to agree that Turskish Delight Ice-cream is pretty earth-shattering- and-orgasmic-like... but the chocolate layer still tastes like cheap Ice Magic chocolate syrup; therefore, it isn't GOOD ENOUGH.
I want the REAL DEAL!
So in effort to make this amazing-ingenious-fantastic-hebat-geng idea a reality... I've decided to take the first step to achieve this dream... I am going to buy an ice-cream maker!
I've been shopping around the internet for a few models. I've narrowed it down to a few models that are within my budget:
...lol... just kidding. I'll get this when I decide to drop out of Uni.
Sunbeam Gelateria GL8200. $300
Looks pretty good huh? it 'chills your ice-cream at the touch of a button' but it is also a little bit more pricey. It apparently rusts as it needs salt solution to be placed in the canister to aid the chilling process. There are also mixed reviews regarding how long the machine takes to chill the ice-cream. Hmmm.
Cuisinart Ice-cream maker. $170
This one requires the bowl used in the machine to be frozen for a whoping 22 hours prior to making your ice-cream :( Apart from that one issue, everything else seems perfect!
Decisions, decisions... which one sounds sexier?
